Noah’s Ark’s founder/director, Jama Hedgecoth, was featured in Visit Henry County’s “History Has a Name” series. We are always grateful for their support, and their help with spreading the word about Noah’s Ark and our mission.
A deep desire to help children and animals led Jama Hedgecoth to start Noah's Ark Animal Sanctuary. Roughly 1500 animals of over 100 different species can be found here at the sanctuary, where the Hedgecoths, staff members and volunteers work to provide a comfortable, caring environment for abandoned, abused, neglected and surrendered animals.
